Hill & Ioppolo Oral & Dental Implant Surgery of Lubbock is proud to announce its 2023 Smiles For Soldiers recipient, Jason. Each year, our Smiles For Soldiers program provides one veteran who has many broken, missing, and/or decayed teeth who lives or works in the Lubbock area with a complimentary full-arch restoration procedure.

Jason is a 41-year-old Army veteran with a wife and 5 children. In his application, he explained his struggles with PTSD and how those struggles have severely restricted his ability to receive the dental care that he needs. While he has tried to maintain his overall health as best as he can through the VA, it has declined as a direct result of his deteriorating oral health.

Restoring his smile is important to him not just for his health, but because of his family. In his application, he explained, “One day, when I am gone, I would like my children and grandchildren to have photos of me looking happy…because my family is everything to me. As a husband and father of 5 children whom my wife homeschools, my physical health is an important component of supporting and providing for my family.”

We hope that this is truly life-changing for Jason and his family. Jason has overcome adversity in many aspects of his life, and we are proud to be able to help him. We know that providing him with a healthy smile is one step toward helping him regain his self-confidence as well as his ability to eat and maintain his overall health.

FULL-ARCH RESTORATION

Jason will receive a complete set of new teeth at no cost. This type of tooth replacement is called full-arch restoration, and it involves using dental implants to secure a fixed denture in one or both arches. Our experts will work closely with a restorative dentist to complete the treatment.
